I lived for more than 2 years in canada. I don't have any relatives but now I do have a few friends there...does having friends give me any additional points on EE?

Thank you!

Hey del, now is the perfect time to try that quote you have as foot note,*Russian roulette..... ;D ;) ;D

but be informed that having a friend who is a citizen or PR for more than a year can be used as evidence for having "close ties" to a province!

Hi! I just saw your post. Im curious about what you said, because I made some friends a few years ago while i was studying in Canada, and as for today they already have more than a year with the PR. So does this situation still would apply as close ties? Thank you! :D

When applying for provincial nomination, some provinces require you to write a Letter of Intent to settle in that province. In such cases, you have mention having friends in the province to show some ties to the province.

Check this thread to know more about it http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/sample-of-letter-of-intent-for-oopnp-t315415.0.html

But, please note, you do not get any points for friends or relatives as part of your CRS.

No CRS points for that.
