Having baby outside canada

I'm a canadian (from Quebec) I want to know what is the process when having a baby outside of Canada ?

I want to know step so that i can came back with the child.

I heard that a DNA test is require ? I have to ask for a the citizen ship for a card ?
How long those it take to have the card ? That baby wild be born in India.

If you are not married, it is possible that immigration will ask for a DNA test to prove that you are the father.

You would have to apply for a citizenship certificate for your baby at the Canadian embassy in India. At the same time, you can apply for a temporary passport for the baby. I can not tell you how long it takes to get a temporary passport.
