Hi

My friend is from Taiwan but family moved to China for work. He was studying high school in China after he was 18. After he came to Canada he only visited China for a few times (with no more than 1 week period each time, sometimes just 1-2 days). Most of his 6-month period is his high school period. China refuses to issue police certificate for him for the time he visits during his university time, but is willing to issue police certificate for his high school period.

Will that suffice or he has to find some ways for a police certificate that covers all the post-18-yo period ?

Thanks

If you read their website carefully, you will notice that is the requirement. So I suggest he should find a way to do it somehow. Don't risk on something very important like this, unless you're cornered and no way out.

I don't think that would be a problem. I have seen people done PCC from China without covering periods of visiting.
