Hi!... I just wanna ask the right steps to do...

I'm single and have my PNP approved already, I'm on my way applying for PR. My partner has already applied his PR and now on passport request processing. We started our common law relationship this January 2013, and we did not declare in our status yet because is not atleast one year.

Now I'm 3months pregnant and will give birth by the end of September 2013 here in Canada.

What would be the best way to do, getting married before I give birth for our baby which will may delay the PR approval of my partner.
OR will wait until he got his PR, and then we get married here in Canada....

I more few questions to ask...

Hoping for your feedback...

:) Regards.

If you get married or qualify as common law before you get PR, you will have to add each other to your applications and that can delay them. It is up to you if you want to get married.

Is we wait to his PR and then we get married, is there will be a big problem with his application and my application... because we are separate application process in applying PR. and with regards with the status of the child that will born soon?

1. It depends on how long your partner applied for his PR

2. Get the services of a lawyer and know what documents you need to send immediately after getting married.

If you wait until he has his PR and then get married, you will have to update your application that you got married to a PR but you will not have to add him to the application itself because he will already be a PR by then. You will just enter his name on your additional family information form.

There is no problem with the status of the child. The child will be a citizen if born in Canada.
