Hello folks,
I received my passport two days ago with the canadian visa that will expires the21 June 2018. I know that i have to enter canda before that date but my concern is i am 32 weeks pregnant and my doctor advices me not to flu . my due date is the 30 april . how can i add my newborn in my application? Is it necessary to add the newborn even if she will be born in the USA thus has American citizenship and does not need visa to enter canada .please advice me what to do since i will have one month and 21 days between her birth and the expiration of my visa.
Thank you for the help.

Yes, you must add your baby by raising a CSE to update IRCC of a change in your family composition.

You will then be required to provide her medicals, passport, birth certificate, etc.

What about the expiration visa date ( 21 juin 2018) i will have only one month and 21 days to submit those documents... Is it enough time to get an answer and add her in our application to be able to fly before 21juin.. If i dont receive an answer after submitting her document and my visa expires, what should i do then ? Is this situation means i miss my chance to go to canada and it is over? Please help

Thank you for your response. Is it risky to wait for a new copr i mean what to do if the new copr takes to long and my visa expires? Do you advise me to go to canada before my labor?

If it is your concern, why don't you travel by land from USA to Canada? I know it is tough to travel with 32 weeks of pregnancy. But worrying is not good for baby also.

I can see your kid has a chance to have dual citizenships there. Why not?

There is no risk. IRCC will either extend your previous medical or request you undergo another medical.

I can not go ny land either my doctor prohibits it espetially because i live in texas and it is a 4 day travel by car.. If you think ading a newborn to my application will not affect our application negatively.. If it take to long and my visa wont expires it is ok for me i mean i have just one month and 21 days between my labor and expiration of visa..

Please help,
Should I inform IRCC about my pregnancy? Or just wait until the baby is delivered and then add her to my application?
Thank you so much for all your responses.

Your options have already been explained. IRCC doesn't care about the pregnancy. Either land first or wait to add your child after the birth.

Have you read the very first page of the letter you've received along your COPR?

Yes, of course i did, but it doesn't say anything about a newborn I also understood from that first document that there is no chance to have extension of the Visa.

It is not an extension per se but rather an issuance of a new one.

Hi DelPiero07, request your opinion on my case which is somewhat similar to this one -
We received PPR mail today and need to submit our passports within 30 days to visa office, but one issue is that we are expecting our baby around April end and would definitely like to add him/her to our application. So how should we go about it?
1. Should we email/raise a CSE now and request deadline extension for passport submission OR
2. Give our passports for stamping, wait for the baby's birth and then raise a CSE along with his/her documents?

Another query - How many days does it generally take to receive stamped passports back from the date of submission (in case of New delhi visa office)?

Option 2. Raise a CSE and inform them that you already have your COPR in hand (assuming that's the case at that point in time). You will receive instructions on how to proceed along with the documents needed from you.

I'm not from India so I cannot say how many days the NDVO takes to send the passports back. From my experience most VO's take about 3 to 4 weeks to do so.
