Haven't received AOR for 5 Months now

Hi, is it advisable to write a letter asking if they ever received our application package. I have a tracking number with me. So if they don't have my application I cand send in a new one. Sent my application FEbruary the 27th and received March 3, came back to me June 27 sent back the same day and received June 30. As of now have not received AOR. Anyone the same case as mine? I am so desperate, I can not work and I need to help pay bills, too!

are you applying outland or inland?

if outland, many applicants are not receiving AORs, and the first time they hear from CIC is when the sponsor receives their eligibility letter. if you are outside the posted processing time for SA for outland, then it's recommended to contact the sponsor's Member of parliament (mp) and have them inquire on your behalf.

if you applied inland, i'm afraid you're going to be waiting much longer to hear from CIC. I believe only a handful of recent applicants received AOR, and I *think* the average time is 5 months. you will want to check out the inland thread to get a better idea.

I am applying Inland. I will wait till next month then and write a letter, they respond or not.
