Hi Everyone,
I have couple of questions please help me out.
I was on a spouse work permit, and my visa expired on 30th nov 2018, Now I'm planning to apply for visitor visa to stay in Canada till my wife get 3 Pay-stubs from employer for my further work visa extension.
I was filling IMM5708e form to restore my status in Canada as visitor.... while filling the form I came across couple of questions which I couldn't able to fill it by self, please answer to the following questions

1) Original Purpose for Coming To Canada (work/study/visit/family visit/other)

2) Have you ever remained beyond the validity of your status, attended school without authorization or worked without authorization in Canada? (As my visa expired on nov 30th 2018, I stopped working), what should I answer to these???

1) You haven't provided enough information for us to answer this question. If you originally came to Canada on the SOWP, then you would say to work.
2) The answer is yes since you have remained in Canada beyond the validity of your work permit.

You must also select 'Other' for your current immigration status and then type 'Out of status, requires restoration"

1) You haven't provided enough information for us to answer this question. If you originally came to Canada on the SOWP, then you would say to work.
2) The answer is yes since you have remained in Canada beyond the validity of your work permit.

You need to select 'Other' because you are currently out-of-status + none of the other selections apply to you presently

Guess those selections are on the 'Come to Canada' tool. Anyway

For Form IMM5708E, you must select 'Restore status as a visitor' + Original purpose of coming to Canada: Work

You need to answer 'Yes' to this question (you are out-of-status + you have remained beyond the validity of your worker status) + you must provide details.

The box for this section seems adequate to provide a small explanation/details
