hi guys, i came across this question and wasn't sure how to answer it. When I was younger, around 20 years old i was charged by my employer along with half the other employees at a retail store for theft over 5k. My charges were dropped/acquitted ... but I am not sure how to answer the question "have you ever been charged with an offene under the act of parliament by a maximum term of imprisonment of at least 10 years?"

I did find out that theft over 5,000 is punishable with a maximum of 10 years imprisonment in Canada.. however because the charges were dropped... do i need to fill out yes .. it seems like i do.. as the question asks if I was ever CHARGED and not CONVICTED .. please help

Answer 'yes', and give all the supporting documents necessary to show that the charges were dropped. You can still sponsor.
