Hello. I recently got my visa and will be arriving in Canada most probably in November end. I know that we have to bring the documents we sent in visa application at the POE and also LOI ( if applicable) This much is okay. Now my questions are:

1- I'll be staying at my uncle's and should I tell the officer the same? I mean obviously I didn't say that I had no relative there in my application( never asked) but still, is it safe to say so? Can the officer send me back for this? ( thinking I've extended family links in Canada)

2- I'm buying some gifts (traditional clothes) for my cousins too; will I be taxed for such gifts? because obviously they won't be for my use/consumption.

Actually someone I know told me I can be taxed for items that aren't for my own use; was confused ,that's why I asked. OK so am gonna give the officer my uncle's address. Thanks for replying though :)
