Have No proof of Salary from previous employer

Hi Mates,

At my previous employer there was no formal method of paying/receiving salary. I was paid in cash.As our organization was going through tough economic times so twice I even had to miss it or take it in installments in cash.Becaue of which I left it after a year,when I saw the situation worsening.

So I donot have any proof or salary slip to show.

Later on the employer even had to vacate his original factory premisies.(i.e the address mentioned on my appointment letter head is different from the address they are based presently).

Pls guide if what should I do if the Candian emabassy :

-Asks for salary slip.
-If they physically come to check if the organization exists on the address mentioned on my letter head.

You can try and explain the situation in LOE, as your employer in his Reference letter. Try to show some evidence, whichever you can remember. At least that you were actually employed there.

-I declare in the LOE that my have no salary slips and was paid in cash without receipts etc ?
-Should I mention that the factory premises has shifted from the address mentioned in the appointment letter.?

I have the employment letter and work experience letters...but I donot have salary proofs .Would that suffice?

Also a related question is that I worked there for eg 15 months but got paid for 11 months...so my employment would be counter as 15 months or 11 months.

-Yes, explain that you got paid in cash, but let your boss write that too in his letter.
-Yes you should mention that too, write as many details as you can.
That should be enough if you cant provide salary slips, they are additional, not mandatory.

Employment has to be paid to count as CRS, so yes 11 months.

But should I give all such details upfront i.e in the LOE while submitting ITA OR should give such details later on,if asked for.I mean why invite unnecessary attention?.....what is your advice

Is it mentioned anywhere on their website (not to discount your valuable input) on how to present such typical cases.

If your employment reference letter mentions your salary then there is no reason to provide any additional proof or LOE.
