Is it correct that you applied last year, and never received SA confirmation email?

To start, do you have your UCI? If yes, you can log into eCas with your own credentials to see if your sponsorship is approved. It may still say in process, so there's little good and does not mean much. However, if you see the PR applicant side with more information, it would suggest (not prove) that sponsorship is approved.

If you do not know your UCI, then you can try to log-in with the payment slip. By now the package would be received a long time already, and it would be tied to the receipt number. Some people are able to log in with that.

The only way to know for sure is if you order GCMS notes. You can search on the internet for the keywords "GCMS notes" and there's a Youtube video teaching you know to do it. There are a number of different information you can enter to identify the case (UCI number, File number). So hopefully you know your UCI number. If you do not have your UCI, you can still apply by putting in only the name of the applicant. I don't know if this make it slower...for example, what happens if there are 2 people with the same name.

The other thing you can do is that since your sponsorship has long passed 60 days (typical time last year for sponsorship to be completed), you can call CIC and ask for the status. They cannot ignore you. But getting through is difficult on the phone.

I would still suggest that you order GCMS notes anyway, as it does not hurt to have direct information about your case in your hands.

You are applying inland correct . If the applicant was asked for a medical then you would have passed sponsorship. You might have just missed it in your email box . That is if you ticked the box not to continue if you don't qualify for sponsorship .

Inland is about 28 months so it takes a while to get any response. you should have received an AOR when you application was received and opened.

Thank you all for responding. I as the sponsor never received a UCI, but the person I'm sponsoring does... I have not been successfully in getting ahold of them via phone. I will keep trying. I did tick off the box to continue with application if sa was denied.

The sponsorship eligibility list is pretty clear, can you think of anything that might cause you to be ineligible as a sponsor?

Should have ticked No, because without an approved sponsor, there's no chance of a final PR approval.

No I don't think there is... I see that SA takes 17 months. It hasn't been 17 months so I didn't think I'd see it for a little while. Am I wrong on the months..

You did submit an Inland sponsorship application, correct?

Since you applied 13 months ago, you should hear something by end of Summer...which would be ~ 17 months.

Sorry can you explain more. If I tick no then if I was denied they would.have rejected the whole application. If I'm rejected (not.sure why I'd be) they'd continue to see if he can still be granted PR.

If you check off no and are found to be ineligible as a sponsor the application would be cancelled and you would receive the applicant fee back. Since you checked yes if you were to be found ineligible they would continue to process the applicant portion of the application and refuse it as the sponsorship won't be approved without a sponsor.

After SA, all emails are sent to the PA, so you probably won't hear anything at all from CIC.

It sounds like you may already have SA, because you said that CIC emailed to request the medical:

We got request for meds. How much overall dose it cost for exams and test?

Ok I'll call all tomorrow to see. Thank you all again.
