Hello Everyone,

I have some questions related to immigration. Please, help me with the answers.

A little bit about my background.
  1. I am from Mumbai(India) and 26 years old. I'll be completing my Master of Science in Information Technology(MSc.IT) this year in July.
  2. So, my complete education history is - 10th, 12th, BSc.IT(3 yrs, 2015 pass out), MSc.IT(2 yrs, July 2021).
After Bachelors', I started working in the IT field(2016 - present). Currently, I am working as a Data Engineer(from last 2 years), I have 5 years of work experience. While I was working all these years, Simultaneously I pursued a full-time MSc.IT as well(2019-2021) from Mumbai University.

These are some questions
  • Will my work experience be counted when I was pursuing Masters? If anyone is curious, I use to attend lectures in the morning and then a full-time job.
  • Which ECA organization will give me a Master's degree equivalency?
  • Is there any impact on the immigration process/rules due to the upcoming election?
  • If I get a Master's degree equivalency and I score 8-7-7-7(8 in Listening and 7 in other three) in IELTS, then my CRS score reaches 469...is this a good score?
  • If I want to increase my CRS, what possible options are there to increase it? Apart from securing CLB 10 in IELTS.
  • Which program(FSW, PNP, etc) would be good for me to apply?
  • If I start with ECA and IELTS preparation from August 2021, How many months/days should I target to complete IELTS and in the overall process?
  • What are the chances(out of 10) of getting ITA, with a 469 CRS score?
  • Any steps/areas in the process, where I can possibly go wrong OR need to focus more on?
Please feel free to suggest/advise. I am planning to migrate to Canada, Your answers would give me a good vision/idea.
Thank you very much in advance! _/\_

Yes, your work experience will count while studying Full-time. IQAS and ICAS are two known organization that might give a master's degree equivalency, ICAS assessment is much lengthier.
No, there won't be any impact of elections. Your score is really good, you will most likely be selected in the upcoming draws THIS YEAR. So as far now, you only need to get your studies evaluated (takes around 2 months by IQAS) and prepare for the english exam. So, you don't need to look for any other PNP, your profile is good FSW.

I'm not sure if you're up on the latest news, but 469 isn't a very good score at this point.

There have been no draws this year and we don't know when they will restart. When the program does reopen, it's pretty much guaranteed scores are going to be 480+. I would say there's a good chance OP will not be selected through FSW this year with a score of 469.

OP - you should rewrite IELTS and increase your language points.

Yes I guess we will come to know when the FSW draw comes.
As most of the CEC candidates are not in the pool anymore. I think the subsequent draws for FSW will drop sharply toward 450.

CEC applicants have nothing to do with FSW CRS scores. Unless there is a major event that makes people stop wanting to immigrate to Canada the CRS scores will not decrease. Because we haven't had as many FSW draws, when Canada's covid situation is under better control and when borders open there is likely to be increased demand for FSW which will push CRS score needed higher.

There is never an exclusive FSW draw that happened in the past. It always had CEC also included so less number of CEC high scoring candidates in the pool will eventually be beneficial for FSWs
