Hello guys,

I've been working for more than 1560 hours in a full time permanent position. I'll get my IELTS results soon. Although my working experience will not be counted as one year until April 2016, should I start applying as soon as I get my IELTS score anyway? I'm kind of worried as my PGWP is going to expire at the end of this year. If I apply in April, do I have the chance to get ITA AOR by the end of the year? I'm in Ontario.

Thanks!

You have to have one year experience with a minimum of 1560.

As for your other questions, impossible to say without more details on your education and language scores. Have you guessed what your crs might be?

For IELTS I'm expecting L8 R8 S8 W7, I have a Bachelor degree and job code 2133. So total CRS might be around 420 I guess..I'm in Ontario.

Wait and apply in April. It's best to get into the pool when you actually qualify.

As long as your crs is above 400 you have a good chance of being nominated by ontario (assuming you are in ontario).

Thanks r1ley. I'm just worried that by the time I got OINP it would be at least August and I don't know if the quota will be full at that moment :-X
