So sorry to hear that. Had you previously ordered your GCSM notes from your file? Just wondering if there was any indication of anything for you? Keep us updated....we're all pulling for you.

I am new to this group and just read that a file only took 2 months so if they can do that for her why do they take so long for others there is no rhyme or reason dealing with cic. It can get so disheartening at times and u wonder yes what the H#$$ is going on ??? ???

Well like Europo said, it pretty much depends on wether u get an interview or not....if they waive the interview then the wait seems to only be 2-4 months from when it hits Havana (ours was 2 months) and if the interview is required then unfortunately there is a long wait for an appointment Sucks. Hopefully most of you will be able to at least spend some Time with your spouses in cuba over the holidays because cic usually slows down in December and picks up again in the new year. Hang in there guys! Soon this will all just be a distant memory

Hi Everyone, just wanted to give an update. We are 3 months in Havana and I found out yesterday that our file is waiting to be scheduled for an interview. I was devastated but just need to try and be positive. Just booked to go see Hubby on Jan 6th.

I am fairly new on here, have been reading everyone but have not posted and thought for today why not!!! am going to come on board and talk about this journey all of us together.

My story of course as similar, met Jan 2015 Married April 18, Papers Submit Sept 10 and now in Havana since3 Nov 26th.

My girlfriend married same day met same day and just had a baby with her Cuban husband and they applied June 10 and he is here already.

So I am hoping as well for 3 more monthes max as in our papers states our pregnancy as well I am now 17 weeks and want him here for our baby arrivfal.


This is hard time and I go to Cuba like twice a month since we met over 20 times and now have 3 more trips booked til feb.

Hope all goes well for all of us.

NEWGIRL IS RIGHT, THE EMBASSY DOES START TO SLOW DOWN CLOSER TO THE HOLDIAYS... DONT BE DISCOURAGED THOUGH BECAUSE WHEN THEY PICK BACK UP ITS AT FLASH SPEED... I THINK 80% OF THE PEOPLE IN OUR GROUP AT THE TIME OF THE VISA WERE APPROVED ALL BETWEEN THE END OF JAN AND BEGINING OF FEB!!!


ALSO, GUYS KEEP IN MIND THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON DOING THE INTERVIEW... SOOO THIS IS WHY THE INTERVIEW DATESARE SUCH A LONG WAIT!

I am in Holguin and Havana sent an email on Nov30 to my email address for my Husband´s interview Dec 10 at 2 pm which of course I did not get so They called him this am and set date for Jan 4,2016 and he will now need a new medical and pOlice certificate . So hope you all get a call or an email.
