Does anyone have any tips on how to make the wife happy while she is missing her family.
WOW!!!!!!!What a difficult day!!!
Please someone reply. This is tough!

give her lots of love, hugs, support, have patience, be there for her, but don't smother...

Your wife has been removed from all that she knows her entire life, she is now in a different world. Different culture, food, weather, lifestyle.....
Culture shock is very difficult to deal with...

AMEN!!!!!! :) :) :) :)

What an experience this is been so far. it has been great.
My wife and I have applied for SIN number as well also her Alberta healthcare. She will get those in About eight days. Everything is going well here. My wife has already had a couple of emotional moments but she knows and I know that it is bound to happen. I got her an iPhone for and she said to me it is her new little toy ha ha. My wife, uncle and I went out for a all you can eat buffet and she had about 30 Different items on her plate. She was trying everything and enjoyed 95% of the food. We also went and did a little bit of shopping and she could not believe the items that a person can purchase here. But really everything is going just great. I am going to start looking into English classes for her, she can speak English but she wants to Learn a lot more before she gets into applying for work. Which I completely understand.

I wish everyone on this thread a very happy life as well and God bless you all and your families.

Thankyou ready xoxo I will have a biopsy September 12th sometime in the morning. They are checking for lympthoma. I am afraid but trying to keep positive. They say this is treatable apparently if I do have it. They are also checking for diverticulosis as well as I may also have this. Apparently this is quite common and goes away with antibiotics but flares up no and again. Yes I hope my appeal will be soon and so hubby can be at my side. I have a large dog and cat to take care of. they take alot of stress away :) and they have got me through many of trying times for me. On a good note lol there was a huge raccoon that attacked my dog a month ago got trapped Friday night and has been relocated far far away from here yay :). It was very aggressive and would not back down after I kicked it 5 times in the head. The dog went to the vet and was on antibiotics for 10 days as her face, nose was cut and bleeding quite badly from the raccoon's claws. the dog saved the cat and I saved the dog. We make a good team lol. I am going to buy some bear spray for just in case. When the raccoon was taken away in the trap from the company that was hired said this raccoon may have been an alpha male as he is about 30lbs and other raccoons may be looking for him and gave me another trap to use for now to catch others as there are many around in this area. Wishing you a wonderful Sunday and God Bless XOXOXOXO Thankyou for your kind and encouraging words Ready :)

Hi

Does anyone know a safe way to transfer money to a Holguin Cuba bank account ot a person

You need to have a TD account and wire the money. It will cost $30 for each transfer. They also need a bank account there. It will cost them the exchange rate though. It can take about 3 to 4 days for them to get it.

I did that about 6times and then when I went to Cuba for visit I left a prepaid visa for my wife and all I did is get another prepaid visa and loaded it and she got it right away. But do not activate that second card because then the card in Cuba will be cancelled. You can get it at money mart. Still have to pay the exchange.

Hello everyone long time that I have not been on been busy, busy since hubby's arrival. It has been all about adjustments lol let me tell you. I seriously thought that this would be much easier. Boy was I wrong..

When it comes to the 3 year rule when I am responsible for him what does this all mean. I get the basics. However if he gets a credit card and decides not to pay it does that fall on me?

Double Rainbow you were around when I was going through the visa waiting period. I just read your health news and wanted to send your positive vibes and lots of love. Stay strong hunny! :-*

Hi

In Canada, you are only responsible for debts on which you have signed and your spouse is responsible for debts on which he or she has signed. If you have both signed for the same debt, then you both owe the full amount. If one of you doesn’t pay the joint debt, the creditor has the right to collect the entire debt from the other person. Hope this helps
