No call yet for us, I told her to keep her phone in her hands all the time ! :D

I'm 2 weeks behind so I expect to get the call in 2-3 weeks

I'll go there to get her with me as soon as we have the visa... I want to be there for her first flight !

It'll be amazing time ! Cant wait

i wish i could do th same but with a baby not a good idea lol i aint workin either so not soo good economically lol but i guess we will have tons of fly together lol good luck praying for you :) :)
 
Looks like they call on wednesday for visa on tuesday...

I pray we get the call next week. At least, we should be very close now.

I'm very happy for all of you !

Congrats! Your husband will be at the visa office the same day and time as mine. Wish I could be there too!
 
I just have to say the same thing that sandiva said "what a process, but well worth it!!"
The day is coming sooner than I think and I am not sure I am going to be as ready as my wife, lol.

Who knows the steps from the time our spouses land? I have an idea???? but quite unsure of a few things!

Hi, yes, the time has come up fast and now all very real. I'd like to be more ready but more important I really just want to be reunited and start living and building together.

I've been reading bits on this forum about after landing process. There doesn't seem like there is too much to do.

The application process for the PR card is part of the landing procedure. Your wife will do this at the airport.

The application process for your SIN card can be done at any Service Canada office.

The application process for your OHIP card is done through ServiceOntario. There is a three-month waiting period before she will be eligible for OHIP. There is a list of acceptable ID they will accept.

I also remember reading about getting a bank account asap.

What exciting times!

Hello sandiva yes they gonna be in the same place at the same time lol I wish I was there with him too, but we will have just wait here hehe,I'm so haappy it feels so good, after a long wait maybe not to long for some people but for me an eternity lol, and now is when our life start again and for better.I want him to be hhere as soon as possible , I'm already looking at planes tickets for the 17 or 18 .2 days ago I didn't have an idea of when I was going to see my husband again but today is closer than ever.I must say they working really fast in havan , since may 7 they received my application ,they call my husband on august 7 exactly 3 months,not bad at all.Anyways sandiva where's is your husband from in cuba? Mine is from ciego de avila, I'm from there as well!

Still no news on our side, we are waiting for that phone call also. Maybe next week, we'll see...

You will probably get the call tomorrow or next wesnesday yes it was fast they just told him to wait there and they gave him back the passport with the visa I already purchased the ticket it is for saturday 17 the fly arrive at 11h25 pm with aircanada

On my way to Holguin Sept 22 to marry my Cuban fiance and was wondering if there is a charge for a police certificate in Havana and how long in advance for appointments for it as well as appointment for medical. I want to get started on forms as soon as I get back.
