Hi Everyone...I am just printing some B4 forms off the immigration Canada website. There appears to be two ..One called B4 and B4A. I am thinking both have to be filled out for the border services officer in Canada. Can anyone clarify for me. Thanks

Hey Greeneyes you only need B4A if there is not enough room on the B4 then continue on the B4A!!!!

Thanks KJG. She goes tomorrow at 8:30am to the Embassy. We have fingers crossed and anything else we can cross. Can't wait for her to call my son and say she has it. Then we can do our happy dances.

Greeneyes my husband was there at 8:30 am stayed for about 3 hours until I heard from him. In the meantime passport was handed in. Asked to come back at 3 pm passport was ready with visa inside. Good Luck tomorrow but really its a done deal!!!!

Question if someone can answer. My DIL went to the passport office for that upgraded stamp with regard to the new regulations which began January 14, 2013. She was told she did not need it as it was for children travelling under 10 years of age. This is Cuba and I would hope she is getting the proper information. Anyone else have to get this new stamp to upgrade their passport?

Avana Thanks so much....we are over the moon for our son and his wife. We head to Cuba on Sunday and on March 3rd we bring her home.....Do you have any insight into that passport question I posted re upgrading....I do think MOnday they need to go to the immigration office in Santa Clara to speak to someone.

Greeneyes her passport should be fine....I would have her go to immigration though and just make sure nothing further is needed and she should tell them she will be leaving March 3/13 to come to Canada and then all your minds will be at ease!

Good Morning everyone
I am amazed by all the good news that was posted while I was away.

I returned home late Friday night from Holguin. I had a wonderful time with Hubby, and with my Cuban family. We finished his application for CIC. I have all the documents ready for translation, I just have to wait for a day off during a weekday to make the trek to Yonge and College area in Toronto for my lawyer to translate and notarize, I suppose I could use a courier, but fear that the papers could get lost.

And now reality has sunken in, after being with Hubby 24/7 - I was feeling so alone and isolated over the weekend, thank goodness I'm going back to work today, so I can keep busy.

thanks KJG, I am keeping busy with my job. Applied for a Permanent Full Time Position today within the same department (pharmacy) in my hospital. Hope I get it, I have been a "contract" worker and that is without benefits, so I'm hoping for the new position to drop in my lap, may need benefits with hubby here.
What made my day? getting my new ID at work with my married name
