RFMO....thank you so much!!! It has been awesome having him here. He is fitting in quite nicely. Went and bought a rice cooker today and some good rice (not my minute rice ) and some black beans.....tomorrow he cooks cause I have to go to work!!! And today.....I almost fainted....I was up early putting on spaghetti sauce and emptying the dishwasher and stuff and was letting Yoani sleep in and anyway heard him up and in the bathroom and went into the bedroom and to my surprise the bed was made....and properly......little things like that mean and help so much!!!!

Hi everyone! Oh what a crazy weekend ive had! got all the floors changed and had to clean everything up yesterday and today and put everything back!!

KJG--So happy for you!! And he makes the bed!! awesome! lol

I have not heard anything from Havana yet, guess the 9th didnt bring me good luck! lol My bestie gave birth on the 8th in the end... but to a beautiful 7.7 lb baby boy! went to the hospital to visit and hes the cutest little thing ever! Really hoping to hear something this week!! At this point Ive passed KJG's phone call day, but still before Luvcuba and Shuster. Wouldnt mind if they called late but we had no interview tho like Shuster! Hubby has had his phone glued to him and it rang the other day and he jumped so high he dropped a paintbrush in the dirt! lol It was just his neighbor tho...

How have all you ladies been!? Luvcuba, any news on ur end? Shuster what about PRE? I hope the change doesnt delay us to past Jan 13th.... keeping fingers crossed! xox

You will receive a Uci number once your package is accepted and imputed at immigration in Mississauga.
Just leave it blank for now.

The option c does not say option c on it. You are fine, just submit that form ;-)

Hi Shuster! I do have a UCI client ID (I immigrated here). So I will put it in the receipt.

I can only imagine how happy you must feel (both of you) to finally be together! And good for him that he helps you with the house work!

Hubby finally submitted his paperwork for the PRE on Friday.
The girl told him 30 days to pick it up (Havana)
But she told him to come back on Monday because the lady who can make it move faster will be in the office and can give us a proper date. I told him to bring her soap, perfume and chocolates lol.
So tomorrow ill have the date.
I'm hoping for December 3rd, but hubby does have a few loose ends to tie up so hopefully everything will go smoothly with that and he will be here the 3rd!!

woohoo!! thats awesome! shouldnt be a prob to make it 24 days as opposed to 30! im hoping we dont have a hard time with the PRE once our time comes :

A friend of mine is waiting as well for the PRE in Havana, her hubby went Nov 5 as this was the 30 day mark and was sent back.... NADA. He has to go back in 2 weeks again...

That really sucks.
I feel lucky cause the girl at the desk actually told him to come today to get an earlier day.
Hubby had no other issues, served his military etc.
The girl looked at his papers and said it shouldn't be more than a 15 days ;-) let's hope

That is like us Shuster2210....Yoani had everything submitted Oct 15th...they told him 3 weeks so November 5th but then said come back on the 31st the check on things and when he did it was done!!!!! So fingers crossed for you as well!!!

So the lady at immigration told him to come back next week and she should have it ready, not 100% guaranteed for next Monday, but should be sometime next week!! Woo hoo.
Now we just need to deal with a few other loose ends, but 3 weeks or so an he should be here!!!

Good Morning Cuba Thread!!!!! He is here!!!! Flight arrived at 3pm and he walked through the arrival doors by 4pm....the big hold up.....couldn't find his luggage.....immigration was quick and easy and no problems whatsovever!!! We went out for dinner and then home and had an amazing night!!! Will keep you posted.
