I paid all the other fees at the bank with the immigration form too. But didn't include this. I don't know why I thought I had to pay only when they issued the visa....I have the money to do it my second pay in November. So I'll do it then, gives it 4 weeks to process until the 'expected call date'...what you ladies all think, do it by bank or online?

Correct! No AOR yet from Havana, like most others, I am actually expecting communication to my hubby via phone before getting that AOR. But I'll take whatever I can get!

You think we should put a column for # of days since sponsorship approval? I thing we have one in the regular June spreadsheet and for those of us waiting on Havana, it shows us how long we've been waiting with no word from Havana!

CIC waiting times have dropped significantly Sassy so expect something for stage one before the end of November I feel! woohoo!

I too am feeling ultra lazy today.. but am already committed to a 4 hr lasagna : lol have been up since 9 cleaning and watching tv, I suppose now is a good time to get that meat sauce going!

Oh right now I remember KJG got her AOR from Havana...after they received the call for an interview! DOH lol

I just added the requested column..anything you guys want to track we will find a way to put it in there.

I know I am excited for November...it is My hubbys birthday on the the 3rd, I am thinking we will get stage 1 approved mid november, my birthday on the 30th and even though our lil one is not due till Dec 3 I am hoping that she will come anytime in November so we all have November Birthdays But I am aware....babies make their own minds up about when to come.

Plus....it will be a great month for us on here....some of you are due to get interview or visas issues....and KJG's man should be here mid November! October has been good to us...but I am looking forward to November now

You are on the spreadsheet....assuming your Approval was Sep 17th also then?

The reality is, if he's called end of December this is all coming on much faster tahn I expected and I'm not financially prepared. I"m starting to realize how much money I need. What are his fees in Cuba, given we are still under the old system? And I need plane ticket for the 3 of us home. Ugh. Credit is maxed... I have to work and save it. Hope November brings me lots of money!! Am I forgetting anything else?

Here is what you are looking at I think, the other ladies can confirm this:
Right to Perm Residence fee $490 - does she have to pay the same amount for the daughter?
His exit visa $550-I think you said he will come on his own then you guys will go back for the daughter non? so this can be put off for a month or 2 for her
His plane ticket $500 you should be able to get it cheaper because it is one way....

I wonder now DDG since you will be there anyways in December...if it is worth it to wait until JUST after Jan 14th (if his visa will allow) to help avoid the $550. You will be with him anyways..and you mentioned you do not have to be back for the new job till mid January...so if you start after Jan 15th that might be cheaper.
I would say first things first...get the Right to Perm Resident fee paid as soon as possible. I cannot remember did you already book and pay for your dec trip?

Yes you are right, I am freaking. LOL... ahhhhhhhhhhhh... I have my December ticket to go, not to come back. I have a feeling hes going to be on the new system.....but will have the money to be on the safe side. I don't know what I have to pay for the daughter... I must find this out. I want to sell stuff but he tells me not to. He feels so bad he can't help me, and I know he will work day and night to help me out of all the mess I created finanically. I lost my job over the summer ladies bc I had a manager that wanted me to quit my first job that I had for 2 years, but she was pissed I travelled all the time and wasn't "available" so she let me go at end of probation. I ended up resigning rather than be fired. Then the first job I refused to quit, was not allowed to book me in the hospital anymore, so i started working for 8 dollars less an hour doing home care. But i picked up VON flu clinics till end of November. I worry I wont make enough money... So, I thought I would go back to school and take courses online so i used my last 5 grand in credit to pay off loans and bring them to date to qualify for a loan pay back the credit, have the money to finish this app and finish my BA in Soc. then found out i had a loan from rbc (bank risk portion) that i never knew about and was sitting in collections. its 15 grand i have to pay or settle to get my new student loans. So this is where I'm at...all for love !!! I should have just taken the 5 grand and went to cuba... so that's what my funk was all over.

DDG I understand completely. I have to say I was taken aback that we got the visa same day. I was hoping for a yes....couple of weeks for visa then I could save money for PRE...then flights...as it is we got visa same day....my cards are maxed out....my daughters getting married and christmans is coming.... :'(.......so I landed up borrowing the money for the PRE and unless something really good happens I don't think I will be able to afford to fly down and get him.....he might have to make the trip solo......and that breaks my heart cause I really wanted to share that with him but I just can't borrow anymore....and I haven't told him yet....figured I tell him when he is excited about getting the pre in his hand!!! But it sucks..... :-[

I know...I want to fly back with him too, but I have a feeling it's not going to be possible. I have a feeling I'm not going to be able to stay there longer than 3 weeks, and im risking being called right back for interview, or staying when I cant afford to and risk him not being called at all. it's so hard at this stage to make plans bc the fees are all here now and there are times we need to be there, to plan around....im hoping i win the lotto. lets all play together and share. we can all pitch in and send our money to one person, like a workplace lotto LOL
