It is fcking bull*censored word*. I honestly can't believe not a word, email, phone call nothing. It's like they opened my file and then through it under someone's desk. Wtf?????t

This is not fair!!!!

so have you done a case specific email to them asking if they have received your file....since it has been x months and no aor from them........and people after you are being processed???.....shuster2210 did your husband ever go drop off that extra proof for you guys? just grasping at straws here trying to find some justification of why you seem to have been bypassed

Hey. I sent a case specific on the October the 10th. 1) about the address still not corrected in ecas and 2) stating we have not receive an AOR etc.
I got an automatic response. "Info is added to your file. You will not receive a response if withing timelines" blah blah blah. This was not the generic response I had receive when I emailed about his address in August.

No we did not drop off further proof etc as I figured I did not want to tick anyone off by adding to the file while so early in process.
There was absolutely no info in my gcsm notes. Was opened August 8th.
And something was looked at Septemer 21st. No notes at all from Havana, only that medical is passed.

This is so frustrating and completely unfair.
So, should I email this week again and see if I get a response specially about my case, or should I drop off a package with cover letter explaining that I know other people who submitted a month after me have already received a call for interview???

What would you do????

Shuster I have been thinking about you too. I was afraid to ask. The whole thing is so stressful. If I were you, I would hang tight for another week, even till the end of the month, then email again. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems they took a week longer to open yours than KJG's. So that adds a week. And hers was July 7 and yours was Aug 20... thats a month and week. To be on track with her I would think your interview would be third week to end of november. That still gives them really 2 weeks or so to give you enough notice for the end of November. Hang tight girl, I have a feeling, a really strong feeling youa re going to get a call within 3 weeks for an interview in November. Ya, someone was processed before you, but it's Cuba, they could have recognized the app name and pushed it through, and everything else be on schedule. Maybe, you don't even need an interview and they are just waiting to call him, bc they dont want to be too fast. Stay positive. You are next, God is giving you one last test of patience. We all have to admit that as hard as all this is on us, we sure are learning how strong we are!!

I am wrong....KJG was June 20, and you are July 9. LOL I'm trying to keep track of everyone, confusing. Anyways, my thoery still stands though!! I think your interview is third week to end of November, if you have one at all, if you dont, then I think you wont hear anything for a few weeks and you'll get a call to come get it in November!!

Well good news is you did get a response back to your email....although abrupt and to the point at least it was not generic...that is a good sign as far as I am concerned....but honestly what I would do is get your husband to take the additional info and do a cover letter saying addtional info enclosed...my wife is flying down for a visit on such a date and I can be reached by phone at .......... I wouldn't mention that other people have been but ahead of you that might piss them off.....they don't like it when you compare your timelines to other people.....

I can scan and creat a file of all the additional proof to the embassy with a cover letter. In the letter include the dates I'll be there if they need to reach me.
2. Drop off everything at the window @ embassy as soon as I get there Friday morning.

What would u girls do??

Myself shuster2210 I would create a pdf and email them with a cover letter and advise them of your pending trip and the dates you are there....and remind them again of your husband's cell # and your's for when you are in cuba...then see what your notes say when you get them

Today was the first day that I'm actually feeling excited about the trip.

Of course everyday I want to be with him, but there's been so much stuff on my brain that its been hard to let myself go and get silly excited!!! Lol.

@ Shuster....I am sorry I have no suggestions as I am so new to this process. I just wanted you to know that I am sending you good positive thoughts. What KJG is suggesting makes sense to me. I do not think sending more proof will piss someone off...it just helps them make a more informed decision. Other ladies...am I wrong about this? Has there been a situation in the past where the Havana Office got annoyed with someone adding proof?

well get this proof sent off and then start to get excited......you have no control over Havana....so just try and let it go and enjoy your visit/holiday.....reality will be here waiting when you get back.....go and have some good congris and some ice cold cristal and some chupi chupi and you will be smiling again!!!
