Congratz to you and your esposo KJG! I hope the process to get his PRE is smooth and swift and that he arrives in Canada super pronto!

And shuster, I hope your hubby gets a call from the embassy ASAP. I've got my fingers crossed for you.

Looking at ECAS, I'm a little bit concerned ??? We have heard absolutely nothing since I received the sponsorship approval email nearly two months ago. I know a few others are in this situation, however when I check ECAS (using sponsor or applicant info), it doesn't even say medicals received even though he did his medical in March and I know we included the paper work with our application ??? Is anyone else's ECAS info completely unchanged since sponsorship approval?

I decided today I'm not looking anymore for a while, I've become obsessed with this since I recieved my AOR. My concern right now is my step daughters medical runs out in October (this weekend actually), and I'm not sure if I should get him to take her now for it, or if it will be alright to get it when I'm there in December and drop it off with other updated stuff, like financial support, pictures of the house we rennovated, emails. ???I have to pay the fee too, and can't swing that until Nov 5. I'm kind of hoping now, they don't open the package until I can do that!!

I would wait until the new medical is requested or 16 months have passed. It may get extended if they are ready to take a final decision on your file within 15 months of the medical (and the only thing stopping the file from being finalized is the expired medical).

Ok, Thanks so much!! I really hope it is within the 16 months, but thats only 4 months away and my file was only just transferred to Havana. I guess I'll wait it out and do it when I'm there if they request it.

I will check when I get home tonight. When I dropped off on Tues I missed the pick up time...so it was not going to be picked up till 530 yesterday. Suppposed to be there EOD today. *fingers crossed*
