you will have a UCI (for SA) and your husband will have his own. Is this his UCI maybe and the AOR for PR? Where was the AOR from? Mississauga or Havana? Maybe they need to issue you a new UCI because of the inland/outland mess up.Galano1213 said:I am going to try it . Today I received a second email from CIC it was another AOR with a different UCi number and same file number as I have had since July application Any ideas as to what is going on ?
I believe we have 2 UCI numbers (I know for sure we have two Immigration File Numbers), one is mine and one is my husbands. Unfortunately, it sounds like your case might be a bit more complicated.Galano1213 said:I am going to try it . Hi Galano, do you ever login to the CIC website? You can see if the UCI is yours or his based on who's personal information is required for the name, DOB and place of birth.Galano1213 said:Well I will have my MP call CIC Wednesday and I will hope this is my husband's UCI number and we are nearing an end to this nightmare.
I don't think the CIC website is updated very often. I've had "application received" and "medical received" for a while now. I've also paid my RPRF but they never updated my status since then. I had to e-mail the office in Havana to get a confirmationBrito623 said:Sorry this is happening I know I couldn't use my CIC until I had my SA, but this is probably not the case here. Not that the CIC website provides a ton of great information. It is very frustrating.
Do other's have information in their "Permanent Residence Application Status" field on the CIC website? Mine is sadly minimal. Does yours say application received or in-process? Sorry if this has been covered in past post... I am just getting up to speed.
My husband's status also just says "Application Received" since Jun 12/14. I ordered the GCMS notes and can see it is in progress. The application status checker would be so useful if they actually updated it.Brito623 said:Sorry this is happening I know I couldn't use my CIC until I had my SA, but this is probably not the case here. How long did it take to receive the notes?justagirrl said:My husband's status also just says "Application Received" since Jun 12/14. I ordered the GCMS notes and can see it is in progress. The application status checker would be so useful if they actually updated it.
