Eeeeeek. I'm getting so nervous!!! Congrats to everyone on here with great news. I have been MIA, working sooo much. Finally have 2 days off.... I called my husband just now and his cell is off. NOT IMPRESSED!!!

My lack of computer is driving me nuts and I am finding it hard to keep up to date and in touch. Work is crazy busy.....my daughter is getting married in less than 2 weeks and Christmas is coming.....yikessssss........I need a personal assistant!!!

Yes : ) Thanks it was in the mailbox the same day I called. : ) I am so excited it seems everyone on here is moving along quickly. Most of you will be leaving in the next 2 to 3 weeks to see your loved ones again ...or spending christmas with them here. It is amazing xoxo

My lack of computer is driving me nuts and I am finding it hard to keep up to date and in touch. So we have heard. You have been complaining about how tired you are now that he is here!!!! BRUHAAHAHA

Ok got in touch with him, he said phone is on, but service is bad today....

I paid the residency fee I didn't pay up front. Called CIC twice today, one guy told me would be in system within 2 weeks, the other guy told me it would be same process time as sponsorship apps. Either way, that's moving fast. They told me not to send it to Havana, that they send the notification to them.

So, just waiting now.... The gov called hubby today, asked him if he really wanted his liberation now. I dont know now. He's been asked to go to Brazil for a lot of money for work... so that would be plan b if hes denied. We will live in Brazil 2 years and reapply. So, should we wait for the liberation until he has Visa in hand, they told him it's there, they just need to sign it... and wanted to make sure this is what he wanted.... now we are confused since a girl was denied this week and married fast too. This is the most stressful thing I have ever been through, no wonder I never get pregnant. haha

Don't stress too much. They want to see communication and common interests etc.

If you know his baja is sitting an waiting, than just wait until you hear from the embassy and get him to get it after that.

We met, spent a month together, I returned 4 months later and married. But our families have known eachother 10 years, my mom's bestfriend and his grandmother. We submitted the application 15 months after being married. We had a total of 6 months living together in Cuba when we applied (not at one time, but for a month or 2 at a time) We just went 7 months not seeing eachother, but have tons of communication, we phone more than weekly. I have a letter from the fertility doctor stating I had to be here Sept - Dec for testing and procedures because we want to have a baby. I'm going back for a month over Chirstmas and then not going back until interview....I'm hoping they don't call him until after Jan 11, so that we have 2 years together when they do. But we will be 2 years married in April. But Brazil does makes this all less stressful! Yes I told him hang on to his job...I hope it's the right thing to do!!

Do you you think it's time I ordered my notes? File transfered to Havana Oct 2, so they have probably only had it a month....but I'll be in Cuba for a month. Or should I order them when I am there? I have email there and can open them....what is the process to apply for them?
