Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the strike has effected their visa application and caused any delays, etc? I am a journalism student in Canada and I'm doing an assignment on the effect of the strike on International students.

I am looking for personal stories and incidents on how the strike has caused you problems and I will feature it in my news report. The news report will be published online and if you don't want your full name or personal details to be mentioned, I will ensure privacy.

Any help would be great! Thanks!

My sister got a rejection. Who knows maybe it was also because of strike. maybe it was easier to reject than issue the visa, less work.

Interesting thought Lara_K79. Did they mention a reason as to why the visa got rejected?

as usual, didn't sutisfy the officer that will return to you country, not enought financial funds, bla-bla-bla...

My study permit got accepted in 3 working days !
