Has someone been waiting for Visitor Visa inside Canada for more than 2 months?

I wanted to double check if you can share your waiting times for Visitor Visa approval Inside Canada? I have been waiting so far two months for this approval and it seems they are doing background checking. Do you know how long this would take?

Hey guys I received today a request for passport submission! I guess everything went well. Do you know how long it takes to receive back the passport after submission? Also, they have two addresses for passport submission "below address". Do you know which one makes the process faster?

If sent by regular mail or Canada Post Xpresspost

If sent by private courier (only)
