Just wanted to find out if anyone experienced with Immigration office calling over phone, if yes, do they call from Landline number or Mobile number. Need to check if they called and i missed their call.

Call from landline. In New Delhi the number starts from 0114178****

What if one miss the call will they do follow up call for sometime, i mean for couple of days or is their any way one can find if they called ever.

Yes, its a call from the landline number, I have recd it some time early this week.

I guess no harm in calling back on the same number, as you have the right to ask, who had called............incase if you do not hear in a day or 2. .. my openion....

they call on the designated landline number AND mobile phone you provided in the form. If you miss the calls, call the number then if you're lucky the IO who called you may answer the phone otherwise they will not provide the number of the designated IO you can however ask for a return call from them. They will call again after a few hours, otherwise send them an email asking for a return call.
