Hey guys,
I am a CEC-inland applicant that received ITA and applying for PR.
I have some hesitation answering that question.
Here's the story:
After getting a study permit - I needed to get a SIN number to work part-time during college. I went to Service Canada to get one, but was told that my study permit was missing a note that I "may work 20 hrs per week off-campus or full-time during scheduled breaks".
Then, I applied to "Request to amend the record of temporary resident document" (FORM IMM1000) to have this note added to my study permit. I submitted all the document and sent by mail to Ottawa. My application was refused/returned because it was incomplete.
Eventually.. I was able to get SIN without having that note in my study permit.. don't remember how...
Should I answer YES to the question, since one of my applications was refused?
