Has anything gone wrong for anybody at the landing interview ?

Has anybody here gone to landing interview and didn't get the Confirmation of Permanent Residence on the same day ?
Just wondering what the chances of landing interview "going wrong" are

It's not an interview. It's a simple process whereby the immigration officer confirms the COPR information. Once you have the visa, that's it...you will not have any troubles when you land.

As said above its not a interview.Its simple landing process where the Immigration Officer will cross check information on the COPR, stamps on the Visa and permits you to enter into Canada as a Permanent Resident.Theres nothing to worry about this process as all the things are taken care by the CIC before granting you the Visa and COPR.....Good luck

Hi all,

I am talking about the landing interview, which is the appointment at the CIC office when you apply inland.
I have applied inland so I do not have the COPR yet. They should be giving it to me on that day.

It is like an interview and yes, something went quite wrong with somebody while doing a flag-poling landing at the Rainbow bridge there at Niagara Falls... It's on the Mexico thread. They were turned down and applicant was told to try again in 2 weeks but then they never updated with what happened on the second try.

Flag-polling is when you just cross the border and come back immediately.
As explained above, I will not be leaving the country at all.
A landing interview happens in an office in Canada. It is not like "landing". It is an appointment at the local CIC office. Landing interview happens when you apply inland under family class. This is the interview where they are supposed to give the Confirmation of Permanent Residence when you apply *INLAND*
