Has anyone visited NDVO for the purpose of getting his passport back?

Hi everyone,
Since longtime I am waiting for my passport and New Delhi VO is not sending my passport back, they are not even responding to my lawyers emails, although when my lawyer emailed them on Oct2011 they replied that they will return my passport within 3 months, i.e. by Jan2012 but no response.
I want to know whether it will help me if I personally visit NDVO and will they return my passport to me there only? will they respond to the queries of applicants like me? have anyone ever tried visiting NDVO?

below are my application history:
I rcvd my CSQ on 7th feb 2011.
submitted federal application on 20th June.
rcvd AOR to undergo med checkup and submit pp and RPRF and did the same and sent every thing by 29th July.
Received RPRF receipt on 10th Sept2011 which showed that the RPRF was encashed on 27th august
eCAS status changed to Med results have been received few months later.
SINCE THEN I AM WAITING FOR MY PASSPORT AND I DONT KNOW WHY NEW DELHI IS NOT SENDING BACK MY PP AND HOW LONG MORE I SHOULD WAIT?
on 6th Feb 2012 my lawyer contacted me and said embassy has asked to submit updated use of representative form which i submitted on the same day


I appreciate your valuable feedback which will help me get some idea about what should I do.... I just hope my passport and application has not misplaced and they are not trying to find my application

I m also waiting for my PPs, I might visit NDVO next week - not sure they will allow me inside.
Per my CAIPS, I don't see anything pending in my application. I did re-med on 17th dec which were cleared on 30th dec, since then no action on my file.

I also living in Pune and next week I am planning to go to NDVO office: Last week I have received this email from them and I had asked tentative stamped date for returning my passport ......not just the passport

my lawyer told me that he has escalated the chain of communications to PROGRAM MANAGEMENT , he explained that Program mgmt oversee the activities of visa office in a region. Has any one ever heard of it?

I have sent passports in last week of december 2011 ,still waiting for passports to be returned,upon enquiring NDVO via e-mail

go to ur bank from wr u ordered RPRF DD and enquire whether they han encashed the RPRF.
if they encash the RPRF it a good sign that ur security and med have been cleared.
they willl also send you receipt of DD encashment which I rcvd on sept 2011 !!! but still have not rcvd my PP back....

I never received receipt for encashment of RPRF draft ,it was encashed by NDVO on 24 december 2011 .E- cas shows medicals have been received

go to ur bank from wr u ordered RPRF DD and enquire whether they han encashed the RPRF.
if they encash the RPRF it a good sign that ur security and med have been cleared.
they willl also send you receipt of DD encashment which I rcvd on sept 2011 !!! but still have not rcvd my PP back....

You should have received it by now, I suggest you email embassy, also make sure your address is correct (im not sure they will send by email or courier)
