Hi everyone,

For the past couple of days i was contemplating on immigrating to Canada as a Federal Investor, but many advised me against it as it takes many years.

So now my representative is advising me to apply to Manitoba programme. I went through their website and it looks very promising.

Has anyone immigrated under this programme? if so please share your experience.

Thank you
Desi

Hi Robert,
Are you saying that the process is exactly as it is in the website.

Have you any experience regarding this programme? Cause i wanted to know what do they mean a qualifying business. Cause we have a business for the past 9 years. Out of the 3 years that they want us to show our business performance, 1 year we have made a loss. So i was wondering will this be a disqualification.

Also like the federal investor programme, do they have a minimum number of employees that has to be managed by the principle applicant.
Cause none of this is in the website. But under the federal investor programme it is very clear. They have given the definition of a qualifying business as well as the points that the principle applicant should score to be eligible.
But non of this is in the MPNP website.

In their exploratory application they are asking only few docs that i could give them right away. but what will take me time is that getting the valuation done. As i have to obtain several documents from the municipality in our country.

My worry is that by the time i get all this ready will there be a change to the MPNP programme. Cause there is a rumour going around in our country that the laws regarding the immigration eligibility criteria’s will change in November. And also that they will put a cap on accepting any applications by mid July.

Have you heard anything to this effect.

Much appreciated if you have any information.

Thank you

Hi Robert,

Thank you for your information.

I have engaged the services of a lawyer, eventhough i feel i can do it on my own. the reason that i try to find out information from other sources is that i dont wont to only depend on what the lawyers says.

so have you got your visa already?

Regards
Desi
