Has anyone had the equivalence "Study Toward a Master's Degree" the ECA report?
What does it means?

What this means is that you completed some studies towards a Master's degree - but you aren't getting credit for actually completing a Master's degree. So unfortunately no points...

From ICAS I have "One year of graduate study". I don't mind not having points for it, as I finished only the first year of a 2-year MBA program. But it's very hard to see where to put this on the PR application, which wants to know everywhere I studied, but seems to assume that any studying I did resulted in a degree, which this did not. I don't want to be accused of misrepresenting!

Hi Guys,

I have completed 3 years full time Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Pune University and prior to that I have Bachelor of Science (BSc - Physics) from Mumbai University. My queries are -

1) Does MCA (from Pune University, India) considered to be a Masters in Canada?
It shows "Equivalency in Canada = Master's Degree", when tried getting a degree equivalency through WES tool.

2) Do we need to have first division/class (i.e. >60%) in Master's degree to get it recognized?

Please can anyone advise?

i was wondering how you qualified for a "Study toward a Master's degree"? was in an unfinished masters program? or was it a completed one but they only gave you that for your credential?

I am wondering the same!
I have a 5 years Bachelor's in Engineering and then did my halfway through an MBA and stopped, no degree obtained. Can I use this to choose "two or more certificates..."? I have CLB 10 and choosing this will give me extra 25 skill transferability points! This is really critical for me to get ITA.
