Has Anyone got Background Check changed backwards from IP to Not Needed?

Guys, my BC has been "in progress" since day one. Now after 106 days it was changed backwards to "Not Needed". Only one of my friends experience a similar switchback two months ago and he got an interview arrangement soon after the change. The good news is that he nailed the interview and got his pr visa on the spot. But the wave of interviews has passed now and was not heard of for two months.

Does the same change happen to anyone recently? Any idea what it means?

Search for PJR3055's post, he experienced the same backward update but it seems he did not have interview. Don't understand why the need of backward update

Hey man, he asked forum members in this thread regarding the strange update. And the second day he submitted schedule A and Friday the same week came the PPR. There was no interview mentioned by him nor does there have enough time for that.

Thank you so much! I was also asked to submit an additional document on August 18. But I didn't notice the change of BC until yesterday.
