Just did mine yesterday! It was a really smooth and easy process. They take a picture of a piece of ID that you hold up, then of your face and then you do the test and submit

I got an auto email right after the test saying I completed my test, listing my application number, and my test result. That’s the only email I got until I received the oath invite.

Going by the trend, it is about a month.

Many in the forum. criminal records expire in a year hence they ask for fingerprints(to get the new criminal records) again since cic hasnt completed your oath yet.

Your webcam is on and filming/taking pictures of you the whole time, so if they see you looking around or talking to anyone you'd get caught. Plus it knows if you open another tab. Not saying cheating isn't maybe possible but I personally wouldn't think to jeopardize my entire citizenship application for that ‍♂

Can easily mirror your screen and have someone reading and googling the answers on another computer, and just say to pick A, B, C etc. I don't think they record sound.

I deal with a lot of scammers and people trying to abuse IT systems, so I've kinda learned to think like one.

I did not see it anywhere online but just confirming that there is no human examiner/invigilator for this online test right? Meaning I can give the test in the middle of the night if I want. Correct?
