The reason why I am asking is my medical reached Singapore on Feb 29. I have not received the passport yet. Is this too late? Anyone would know the possible reasons?

actually sorry that i cant answer your question, but your question did make me worried too. because I have just recently (28 march 2012) done my medical and on the other hand my semester starts at 2nd of may. could you please tell me that when is your semester starting date, when did you apply? and could you please also let me know whenever you get your passport back.

N.B. one question is poking me, that is, if they call for medical then how much is the possibility to get visa?

My semester is starting in May too. Did CHC / VFS call you at all?

thnks for your reply. well, vfs called me for medical, but not after that. they won't call now anyways coz i have done my medical just on 28th from wahab's. now, how do you know that your background is checked and is there any way to know that?
again, why would they check background on you? if you mention the reason that you came from malyasia so they are doing it, so my ques is, what is wrong if you come from malyasia? the reason i am asking this is because i recently came back from london too. and if for this they start doing a lengthy background checkup on me, then what is going to happen to my may semester? do you think that they will consider the fact that my semester is too close?

I went to CHC twice as they called me in for information for my background check. There is nothing wrong for traveling from/to other country. But sometimes if you travel for 3/4 days, it concerns them...that's all I know. And, I don't think your case would match with mine. My brother sponsor me from Canada. So I think that is another reason. I am just guessing... I am not sure. All I know is - they are doing background check on me. I am not worried about it, InshAllah, because my background is clean. Make dua for yourself.
