Hi Everyubody,

The embassy just called me and request me to send the passport for visa issue. Yahoo. Now is it normal to get a phone call?

Has anybody experience this?
 
whare do u from and which embassy?
 
It is the Canadian Embassy in Kingston, jamaica.

The person who called me said that they are ready to issue the visa and that I need to send the passport to the Canadian Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica with a prepaid envelop so they can return my visas and my original documents.

In my case the embassy also called home to ask for passports to be sent, I think we are almost there!

that is good news! now what has happens to your visa. It has been a while already. have you tried to contact them? does your status said decision made?

Still waiting for visas. I've tried to contact by e mail and fax. Until yesterday they replied and say that my passports will be sent by DHL collect as my representative had requested. But they didn't mention when.

Hi,

I got my Passport requested by phone, I was at work and they called me on my cellphone. To be honest, I did think it was strange/fishy so I just checked the phone number registered on my cell and it matched the Embassy's phone number so I sent my passport as requested and got it back about 1.5 months later with visa stamped.
