I submitted my application on 17th of Jan, got an email on 1st from vac in Abuja Nigeria on the acceptance of my application in Canada visa office. A tracking number was attached on which I have been tracking ever since and it keeps bringing up the message: your application is being processed at the Canada visa office. On 11th Feb I got a letter from Canada office in Kenya about my biometric and the validity. I expected my application to have been decided but still no email since then. I have been so anxious and full of anxiety. I have been preparing as I have to leave at the end of Feb but I need 100% assurance I will be granted this visa. Does any one have similar concern?

There are no assurances that a TRV will be issued to any applicant. Hope you have booked refundable tickets because it is not advisable to book tickets before visas are issued.

The estimated processing time for applications from Nigeria is currently 49 days. Actual processing could be faster or take much longer

So the timeline giving by IRCC as the expected duration for a certain stream is a joke?

Anyway, let me still keep my fingers cross and continue to be optimistic.

Does the London transfer a bad signal to the application or a good omen?

Yes, it may exceed the stated processing time because it depends on the type of the application
