I just got my Open work permit and TRV. My original entry here was as a Live-in Caregiver and my permanent residence application is still in process. I just lost my job last week so I don't have an employer now. Can I go home to have a 2 months vacation and still can go back here in Canada?

Do you have a multiple entry TRV? If so, you are free to come and leave as long as that TRV is valid. If it is single entry, you will need to apply for a new one.
Yeah, I have multiple entry visa and my open work permit will expire 2017 and PR application is on process. The dilemma is I don't have a current employer cause I lost my job last week and was planning to apply for a new job after my home vacation.

They may not let you back into the country if you tell them the truth about your work situation. I always recommend telling the truth to CBSA as lying or hiding information will sooner or later come back to you. You may not want to leave on vacation if staying in Canada is important to you.
