I'm post 26 june applicant. On friday my ecase got changed to DM and today i received my passport with visa. I applied in Jan 2011.

I am waiting for USA GC as well as Canada PR.. I hold italian PR valid upto 2015 but less earning so I left italy and entered in the USA for work on H1B and looking for permanent stay for my family (USA OR CANADA).... USA is good once I get GC but it's hard to get, I have nice Federal Government contract.
Buffalo too slowwww and hudge backlog... uuuhhhhh still waiting .....

Your background seems to be very competitive so I imagine you shouldn't have any problem getting to success in Canada. Somehow, people get used to. The only thing I see negative in Canada is the fact that when you first come, your networking is not as good as it should be. Where I was, I happenned to know everyone. Here, I am just a stadistic. No big deal...
