So...when you arrive at the airport, you will see two lanes when entering the CBSA area: One for visitors to Canada and one for citizens and residents.
If you are fortunate enough to use one of the kiosks (automated passport control), it can really speed up the process. However...do NOT scan you foreign passport; scan your PR Card instead.
If you have indicated on the declaration card (from the airline) that you are a resident of Canada, but scan your foreign passport, the machine will `freak out' a couple of times and then tell you that you will need to see a CBSA officer and answer some questions. It's really not that big of a deal, since the officer will tell you what you did wrong at the kiosk, but...it might get your heart racing for no reason.
