no its not necessary ....... frosh week is lyk introduction week .......... where they all tell abt university or college n ur departments .......... in my university there r lots of games , party n concert.......
don wry but i would hate to miss orientation week ......

Orientation is nothing but a connecting point between You and your mates.. information about bank account opening, friends, pubs, knowing different culture within few days..

If possible (if you have visa in ur hand), don't miss it.. If not, just leave it.. You can get all the things later.. from your friends..

Thanks first of all.. that 15 days matter is only opinion.. We are not responsible if something happens wrong.. just be relaxed.. As far as I am concerned ( I have seen many ppl), After 15 days, rejection rate will be LESS..

hey guys im new here
first of all congratulation to every one who got visa

i've some questions

im from Iran but right now im livin in bangalore city as a student , im 20 years old i got admission from humber college in mechanical engg 3 years advanced diploma. i've applied once in normal case(not spp) on 7th july but i got rejected after 6 days due to three reasons:
1-you have not established well in your country of residence
2- your parents dont have enough income
3- your porposed study is not reasonable
i have to mention that my father has about 105000$ in his account in iran and i showed bank statement for 1 year , i didnt loan from bank and the business of my father is iron damage sale and even i have a house in iran and its is 125000$
i have finished my 12th in 2008 and in these 2 years i finished one semester in bachelor of IT in ramaiah college

again i've applied on 4th august (normal case) and i added some more documents such as the corporation between my father and the government of iran in building of a powerhouse , a letter which shows the prince of the house and my consultant also added a covering letter but till now my status is UNDER PROCESSING

i want to know what is your opinion about my case

I hav seen in one post u hav written fights via USA need transit visa. this means flight with N.Delhi-New york-toronto route require this visa??? How did u come to know this hav u verified it from airlines.

I too hav not got visa yet.I recieved medical request frm CHC. I am done with my medical and hav jus resubmitted my passport after CHC request, now I am just waiting for visa, hope so. I hav jus recieved one more good news frm my college that my classes are postponed frm 7th sept to 13th so I will get extra time and more cheaper airtickets. because I guess after 1st september rush for airtickets will decrease. Whats ur story?

CHC has asked for medical that means they have given u the VISA.... Congrats Bro..... But mine still no reponse from CHC will wait till tuesday after that will call to CHC for follow up....

I am little confused bcoz if i get the visa I have very less time for arrangement like shopping etc.

Could u clear me some things
1. which flight should we choose for CANADA ???( Cheaper with Fair) All flights are full nowadays..... mine are starting on 7 sep and till no sign of VISA..... I am going to ottawa
2. What things should be carried along with for canada
3. Have u arrange any accomodation???
