I just got my COPR today from Seattle.
got my PPRequest on July 9, sent on July 10.
they received on 17th July and sent it on July 25th.
just took 1 week for process.
my friends talked to MP to help speed up the the process, so it worked.
i dont know what to do for landing. i am still waiting for visitor visa. when i cross border, hopefully there will be no problem
if i show my receipt and reference number of visa. any suggestion?

Ha, congrats Pouce, at long last! I don't think you need a visitor's visa to land at the border.

jes_ON is correct, judging from other forum members' experiences, when u reach the US border you let them know you are only completing ur landing process, they will give you some forms to fill out and send you back into Canada. I've also read of some members who don't go all the way over to the US side, halfway across the bridge they turn back and complete their landing.

I have sent my passport to Detroit and its been 39 days today. I was wondering if MP can help me...what are ur thoughts ?? My work permit extension was refused and my company has given me 2 weeks time to land and get sin and start work. I am in a very critical condition.

Also does the MP charge you for helping...if so wht is the cost ?? How abt do they help you...just sending an email to CIC ??

smile26 --- MP is meant for helping people. MP can send email to Visa Office what is going on. is there any MP office near your Place?
your VO is Detroit right? they must be busier than Seattle. stay tight another 1-2 weeks. you should be OK. do not worry too much, but did you apply for restoration? i insist you should. you should be blameless when you cross the US border. anyway, looking forward to hearing from Detroit.
