H4 visa - is it valid after entering Canada

Hi All,

I know this is more related to USA visa process, but just wondering if anyone has faced this situation.

I live in USA on H4 and my husband who is canadian citizen is working here on H1.

He is going to get a job in Canada so he will lossing his H1 status?

Can I use my H4 visa once we will move to canada or do i have to take visitor visa?

please advise.

If you leave the US to move permanently to Canada, you will lose the status associated with your US visa. Therefore, if your husband leaves the US to start a new job, his H1 visa (and your H4) visa won't be valid anymore. So if you go to the US to visit after having moved back to Canada, you need to enter the US as a tourist and NOT on your current visa.
