H4 Stamping In Canada

Hi Everyone

Me and my wife currently live in Windsor area and we are Canadian PR. My wife has H1b status and she frequently travels to Detroit for work. I am working for a Canadian company and currently hold B1/B2 and i occasionally visit USA for tourism. Now, we are planning to Move to US and i need to apply H4 for this purpose.

My question is since my wife lives in Windsor, would it be safe to apply for H4 or should she first move to US before i apply? Also, would i be eligible for dropbox stamping (given the fact i have B1/B2 currently). In the past i have had H1B visa myself.

you can apply h4 from Canada it self based on previous members experiences. Also, you might be eligible for dropbox option since you already have us visa.

btw, what did you do if you already applied?

No i did not try that yet. I am not 100% sure if that is the right path. Could you please point to other discussions where people have successfully done this?
