H1B visa appointment availability

Hi @jups, can you please update us here once you receive your stamped passport back? Just want to know the expected time to receive passport after the visa interview. Also, how did you opt for expedite delivery? I see "Request Premium Delivery" option which I believe is to deliver passport at your home address or a pick up from additional locations at extra cost. But I don't see anything to request for expedite delivery. Please suggest.

There's no expedited delivery - i think @jups was referring to the Premium delivery - that's usually faster than regular pickup (at least by 2-3 days). Once its issued, you will get an email with the tracking details . its done using Purolator in GTA/Toronto area

@harirajmohan When did you get stamped passport back to Windsor after attending the appointment? How long did it take to get the passport back in hand?

Today my appointment updated with courier number, stating that I should be receiving the passport in next couple of day. So overall it is taking up 7 days to get the passport back.

2018 and Mar2020. Sorry its a while ago hence dont know current wait time.
I usually stop commuting once i attend interview or send passport for stamping. I wait till i get stamped passport reaches and then i start commuting. At that time it was around 7-10 days. H4 in Oct2020 took about a week.
Once the status changes to issued then they post it on that day or next day. The post comes next day of posting.

While filing the ds-160 for H4 dependent ,we only provide the H1B principal applicant petition number. I am not sure which one should i enter in the ais visa website. Please let me know.

I always used H1's petition number.

thank you. Mines got updated to send documents. I called them, he said the standard. “ I can’t confirm if you are eligible or not but will have to cancel appt and check”. I just said go right ahead. Mines came out to be eligible.

I need a help. Please let me know if anyone can tell about individual date availability before may 2022,so that it will be useful for me to in reapplying DS 160 as individuals. Because right now I have applied for my family altogether(3 members) and unable to check individual date availabilities.

My appointment completed today @toronto. It was quick, everything completed in 15mins. lets see how long it take to get my passport, he mentioned as it will take a week for processing due to Covid.

They do not allow anything except documents. we can have file to hold documents. Total Time taking max 25mins. so, you can park on the road if you are going bycar. currently one side of the road is closed, so not much traffic on this road, so you can park on road.

Interview questions are as usual:
how much is the salary?
who is your vendor & client?
what you do/responsibilities?
what is your role?
Asked why didnt you choose drop box when there is no change of vendor/client for the renewal. told like not 100%sure on eligibilty and dont want to loose this slot as well as am waiting from one year for appointment.
