I'm in the same situation, except that mine got delivered on the 14th at Ottawa. Which consulate did you apply to?

no I didn’t.

Hi @tuhadapeo: I'm on the same boat as you were and noticed one of your earlier threads where you posted that the CAEC tracker was showing 'No status' for over a week after the documents were delivered. Did you see any other updates between Sept 24th and 18th Oct?

Thanks a lot !

Hi, My case doesn’t seem to be moving from admin processing for more than 10 days now!
Are there any ways to contact the embassy? Emails seem to be going unnoticed and apparently there isn’t an option to call them either for this matter .

I wouldnt make things in hurry and ask them on it multiple times unless you have proof that you have real emergency to travel. We dont know what effect it will have.
Nowadays it seems taking time. I have seen weeks wait time for few.

Need help in getting appointment of H1B in Canada

Here is our situation:
I am currently on H4 visa and my spouse is on H1B. Our last stamping was done in India and Currently we have Canadian COPR which is yet to be activated. Would we be eligible for Dropbox or would have to take in person visa appointment? If eligible for dropbox ,then can we mail in documents from USA to Canada or have to go to Canada and then submit the documents? Having said this USA embassy mail back passports to USA or some authorize person has to pick from USA consulate to Canada?
Hi, did you mail in passports from USA to Canada for H1B stamping ?

Hello! Apologies if this has been asked already, but if I am going to Vancouver to do soft landing with a COPR from the US, can I currently avail Dropbox to get H-1B stamping? Also, do we have to book a slot ahead of time for the Dropbox appointment like how we have to do in India?

thanks much!
Hi I am on the same boat.. if we first do a soft landing then we will be PR of Canada correct? So technically we can book H1B appt as a resident of Canada and hence get the dropbpx option? But I see that Dropbox is taking more time for approvals than in person interview

Hi all I just want to ask you guys. I am a Canadian citizen. I applied my grand parents visitor visa for Canada and they are coming this June. So I want to apply their USA visitor visa. Can someone help me figure out how can I apply the visa and what are the requirements they are both nearly 70. Thx

Whole point of removing stamping facility being inside US will become total waste then if they allow this. I heard that 2 decades ago they were doing stamping locally(candidates used to just mail it in before going for vacation to home country) which was discontinued.

US wanted people to apply for visa from outside to avoid lot of overstays or permanent stays legally/illegally. Making candidates apply from outside gives them opportunity to deny few reentry candidates they think as not eligible. So i totally doubt that you can have the passports mailed out to US. You can only mail from US to embassy/consulate in Canada to be mailed to local pickup inside Canada(which i did to save time i mailed from Detroit and later picked it up from Canada after my one week trip in US).

As far as i know, the mail in and pickup labels are for within Canada using Canada post. And the candidate only can pickup/receive the passports.
