H1b dropbox - Ottawa

Me and my wife are h1b holders and Canadian permanent residents. We both qualified for dropbox and need to mail in our documents to the Ottawa US consulate for getting our H1b renewal stamps. Can I mail my documents while we are in the US or do we need to be present in Canada?

hey how did you qualify for dropbox? I don't see that option anywhere. I have a CoPR and soon will be landing in Canada, so should become a PR shortly.

Yes you need to be in Canada and drop it off at Canadian Post. If you mail it from US, you might be taking a risk in case they call you for an in-person interview.
