Hello All,
Need your help and inputs.
I filed My H1B in India and case was approved. But now I'm in Canada and my status is workpermit.
Can I go for H1B stamping in Canada ?
Or the first stamp should go to home country?
Appreciate your help !
AFAIK, You can definitely take a chance and go for stamping but I am not sure if your process will be seamless as some people in the forum told that only PR/Citizens can appear for H1b stamping in Canada.

For H1B Dropbox, I sent the documents to Ottawa from Windsor, ON on 22nd November.
I checked the status and it says Application Received. It also says “Your case is open and ready for interview. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days.”
Is this the general status when they receive our application or should I get ready for interview?

Seems like you are being called for an interview even after submitting documents . You need to schedule an interview now!

I have few below questions, can you please help?
1. What all documents do we need to submit for the dropbox?
2. I have given my brother-in-law's name for sending and receiving the documents? Is it fine or will have any issues?
3. Which canada post should i go and submit the document? I got the Courier-In Authorization Certificate and it doesn't mention the canadapost that i can use to send my docs to consular but only give "Return Document Address"?
4. Do i need to send original i797A with original passport and previous passport(with previous visa)?
