Honestly I dont know , was too busy with my meetings that day, i saw the email first and then checked the status. I wanna say they are usually pretty close to each other. They update the case first and later send the email.

Thanks.. It look 5 calendar days but had memorial day holiday and weekend in between..

Scratch that. Mine literally just went to refused. I think it is admin Processing? How do we even tell the difference?

Either they send you a email to come for interview or change to admin processing today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

What's been your time line so far? I remember yours reached on 9th May and then changed to received on 2 june?

Yeah so,
May 6th: Docs mailed
May 9th: Docs delivered at the dropbox
June 2nd: Application received
June 8th:Update but no status change
June 9th: Refused

Hi, sorry but I am not sure about that. I know you can only send to Toronto if you live in GTA area. Or else people are sending to Ottawa consulate. Are you in Ontario?

The above is a quote from the shipping instructions pdf. And i guess it goes along with having a DS160 that is filled up with Ottawa as the consulate!!
