H1B drop box eligibility and process

I am trying to gather information for drop box eligibility for an H1B stamp and the process to apply for an extension. Do i still need to make an appointment or can i mail it in ?

No one knows the eligibility criteria. Just apply online and the workflow in the site will tell if you need to mail the passports & docs or you need to schedule an interview.

You just proceed with completing your group profile(add members and include ds160 number etc) and pay fees and then proceed further and it will let you know what to do - either interview or mail the docs.

Hi, Do we know the processing time after we mail in the documents. I just get nervous not having my passport with me.
