Since AINP has been changing the process times without much notice, I think it is better to wait for the nomination before applying for PCC's. Also has the federal processing times also increased. From other forums I found out that it typically takes 2 months to get AOR and request for medicals and 2 to 3 months more to get the PR Visa stamp

Hello everyone...

Just to share with you my timeline so far. I applied under new process, sent application on January 15th, UPS confirmed reception on January 16th, 2009 and Alberta state on their email that they received it on February 27, 2009. After 3 months of being patient today they sent my file number ending with 1022 and stating that it will take 8 months to make a decision.

For all applicants who recieved their file numbers last month AINP stated that it would take 40 to 60 days to process the application. I am hoping this is still the case for these applicants. Just was curious. Any ideas or suggestion.

Yes there is a suggestion. This new time line shows the workload of AINP thus, New, Old all kind of application will be processed in thier order.

So governer what ur post suggests is that even old applications will take 4 months to process after getting file number although they had said in their e-mail that it would take 40 to 60 days. I had got my file number last month and was planning to apply for my PCC's but if the processing times is going to be 4 months I will have to delay it

Then you are saying that appliction processing will take 4 months inspite of them saying in the e-mail that it would take 40 to 60 days. In this case we should have received another e-mail saying that processing times for these applicants has increased isn't it?????

My Governement is getting out of money and we are worry about future of this Alberta Govt prorgam officer job. Therefore, Our intention is to delay as much as we can till our last breath because if our office is full with files our jobs are safe, If we process fast Government will lay us off. Govt is running out of resources and we have to delay the decision and Process otherwise if we finish all work fastly and 1000-2000 decisions can be finished within 2-3 months. We don't have to read each and every document, we can just go by checklist that NOC, Paystub and 1797 and immediately print the certificate and mail it. We will never do it otherwise if there is no workload in office then why government is gonna 1,06,000 CAD per annum salary? Thus, we have to maintain the workload and files piled up in our office so govt can not lay us off. If there is no work then no job.. simple and straight!
Cut the crap man, its no longer funny.
